Five from Karur killed by a fatal accident

The family had an year-old infant on board too. The kid and a 70-year-old man died on the spot while the others were thinly surviving in the crumbles.

Krishnamurthy (70) and five of his relatives were bound for a Temple in Eechankottai by car, which collided with a mini lorry on Saturday morning. The accident occured when the car was going via Mahadhaanapuram petrol bunk in Lalapettai.

The family had an year-old infant on board too. Both the kid and the septuagenarian Krishnamurthy died on the spot while the others were thinly surviving in the crumbles.

The Lalapettai Inspector Ramadevi sped up to the spot and admitted the others to the Karur government hospital where they were declared dead.
