TN Governor admitted in hospital for medical examination

Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit has been admitted in a private hospital in Alwarpet, Chennai for a medical examination on Sunday.
Earlier, the workers in the Governor's residence tested positive to COVID 19. This led to the Governor isolating himself following the doctor's advise.
It was reported that eighty four security and fire services personnel deployed at the Raj Bhavan had tested positive for COVID-19, but none of them came into contact with the Governor or senior officials.
