Minister KA Sengottaiyan's nephew joins DMK

With Tamil Nadu gearing up for polls in summer next year, the political heat is already sweltering.

Education minister KA Sengottaiyan's nephew Selvam had joined his uncle's rival camp DMK.

Though it was widely speculated that such a thing would happen none were ready to believe until it happens for real.

It did happen that Selvam met with Leader of Opposition and DMK's supremo MK Stalin at the party headquarters Anna Arivalayam at 7 in the evening.

As a minister holding a key portfolio who has been loyal to AIADMK, Sengottaiyan's nephew joining DMK may hamper the ruling party's morale.
