Woman elopes with 22-yr-old lover, son lodges plaint to trace her

TIRUCHY: In a bizarre turn, a 40-year-old woman from Thanjavur, who developed an affair with a 22-year-old youth through Facebook, eloped on Thursday and her 22-year-old son lodged a complaint with the police on Friday to trace his mother.

A Lalitha, a resident from Kavarapattu village near Orathanadu was residing at a rented house in Orathanadu with her two sons of 22 years and 19 years, after her husband went to Singapore for employment. On Thursday night, Lalitha left the house with jewels and cash.

When her sons were attempting to trace her, they came to know that Lalitha had developed an affair with a 22-year-old youth and confirmed that she had eloped with the youth.

The vexed elder son lodged a complaint with Orathanadu police on Thursday night to trace his mother Lalitha.

In such a backdrop, Lalitha had sent a photo of her marriage with her 22-year-old young lover and an audio recording to her husband in Singapore stating that she has decided to live with her lover.

The police who registered a case are searching for Lalitha and her lover.

Meanwhile, Lalitha’s husband sent the photo and the audio message to his sons and asked them not to go in search of her.
