Ayushmann to star in the remake of Raatchasan?

Now, it looks like, the actor is all set to play the lead in the Hindi remake of hit Tamil film, Raatchasan, which had Vishnu Vishal in the lead role. The psychological crime thriller, , was a huge hit in Kollywood, and Vishnu himself wanted to remake the film in Hindi partnering with Bollywood studios.

However, a source in the know of things says that the actor had already sold the remake rights of the film for a huge sum to a production house, which has now initiated talks with Ayushmann. “It’s true that Ayushmann will reprise Vishnu’s role in the film. However, an official announcement will be made only by early next year.” Raatchasan revolves around a cop who tracks down a psychopath serial killer who murders schoolgirls. It is also worth noting that Ayushmann’s Vicky Donor, Andhadhun, and Baadhai Ho are being remade now in the South.
