Goundamani joins Pa Pandi sequel

Dhanush made his directorial debut in 2017 with Pa Pandi that had Raj Kiran and Revathi in lead roles. The latest news is that director Subramania Siva, now the President of All India Dhanush Fans Club in an interview has revealed that Dhanush is all set to direct the sequel to Pa Paandi. He added, “He has planned to direct the sequel with Goundamani and Raj Kiran in lead roles. The shoot for the film will go on floors this year after Dhanush completes his current projects.” It is well known that Dhanush is a fan of ace comedian Goundamani and he has always looked forward to working with him. If things fall in place, Pa Paandi 2 could be the film. The story of Pa Paandi revolves around an ageing stunt man who is in a search of his teenage love. The film is about whether he reunites with his family as well as his love. Pa Paandi also had Dhanush playing the younger version of Raj Kiran and Madonna Sebastian as young Revathi. Meanwhile, Dhanush is currently shooting for Mari Selvaraj’s Karnan, and also has a film with Karthick Naren. He has completed shooting for his gangster flick with Karthik Subbaraj and the first look poster of the film will be unveiled by the makers on February 19.
