Ajith injured in a minor accident on Valimai sets

Ajith, who is known to perform his own bike stunts for his film, recently was involved in a minor accident while shooting for Valimai in Chennai. The actor, however, resumed shooting for the film immediately and has completed shooting for the Chennai schedule.

“An important scene featuring Ajith riding a superbike was shot in the city a few days ago. Unfortunately, he had a fall from the bike and suffered minor injuries. However, he resumed shooting for the film immediately and has wrapped up his portions in the current schedule,” the source revealed. The source added that the next schedule of Valimai will be shot in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Rao Film City from the first week of March.

There were also rumours doing the rounds in tinseltown that director Vinoth is upset with Ajith for delaying the shoot of the film as he was busy with the UAV project. The director had to shoot with other members of the cast.

Reacting to this, the source said, “He was injured because he had been shooting for the film. These are baseless rumours and allegations that we strongly deny. Produced by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP, Valimai is scheduled to hit the screens on deepavali this year.
