Bindu, Ranjith Jeyakodi film titled Yaarukum Anjael

Talking to DT Next, Ranjith said, “We needed a title that could justify the storyline. We believed there couldn’t have been a better title than Yaarukum Anjael. We all have our own apprehensions in expressing certain things and restrict ourselves. The film’s tagline is, All that is necessary for evil is for good men to do nothing. This is the crux of the film and the characters will be based on this.”

Ranjith said that the story is set in the backdrop of the hill station. “We shot for the film in Ooty for 30 days and wrapped it up in a single schedule. Yaarukum Anjael will be a film that cannot be restricted to any particular genre. We call such film a pure genre film. It has crime, action, drama and other necessary elements in place. Yaarukum Anjael is totally different from my previous film Puriyaadha Puthir and Ispade Rajavum…,” the director added. Produced by Devarajulu Markandeyan’s Third Eye Entertainment, the film is in its post-production stage. “We will be coming up with other updates in coming days,” he concluded.
