Popular actor Nadiya Moidu shares a simple recipe of her daughter’s favourite Italian dessert Tiramisu

Ingredients
250 gms cream cheese/mascarpone cheese
4 tbsp instant coffee powder
10 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cognac
2 eggs
3 tbsp cocoa powder
Approx 20 ladyfinger biscuits
Glass tray(that can go in the freezer)
Method
Dilute all the coffee powder and the 8 tbsp of sugar with water (make sure not too watery), also add the cognac
Whisk egg yolks and egg whites separately (make sure egg whites are stiff)
Mix cream cheese/mascarpone cheese with 2 tbsp sugar
Mix the egg yolk, egg white and mascarpone mixture together
Take one biscuit at a time, dip in the coffee mixture and align in the tray
Spread the mascarpone mixture till all the biscuits are covered
Repeat steps 5 and 6
Sprinkle the dessert with cocoa powder
Tightly cover the tiramisu with cling film
Place in the freezer for 2.5 hrs
Then place in the fridge, can eat after one hour
