Gautham Karthik likely to play Selvaraghavan’s hero

The latest buzz in the tinseltown is that actor Gautham Karthik is all set to play the lead role in Selvaraghavan’s directorial early next year. A source in the know of things told DT Next, “Recently, a narration took place and Gautham liked the script. The pre-production work of the film will begin soon. If things fall in place Selvaraghavan’s film will be Gautham’s next after he completes his shoot of his next with director Ezhil in which he will share screen space with Parthiban. Apart from these projects, the Gautham will also feature in Mani Ratnam’s Navarasa. “Gautham is playing the lead in Ponram’s segment of the anthology. This will be his first shoot since lockdown and will go on floors next week. After wrapping this up in less than a week, he will be taking off from Chennai for Ezhil’s project.” The actor also inter-acted with his fans on Friday from his Twitter account and said that they could expect him to collaborate with his father Karthik as a co-star or as a lead in his directorial.
