Venkat Prabhu’s Maanaadu: Simbu joins the sets

Actor Simbu was supposed to join the sets of the movie Maanaadu last year, but the shooting was postponed owing to issues between the film’s producer Suresh Kamatchi and Simbu. However, when the steeled sown the issues and started the shooting, pandemic hit and they had to bring the shooting process to a halt.

After completing Suseenthiran's Eeswaran movie, Simbu has now joined the team and resumed shooting of Maanaadu. Directed by Venkat Prabhu. Maanadu is a political satire film. Apparently, the team is planning to shoot for 45 days in Pondicherry.

Due to the pandemic situation, Maanaadu team have made strong safety and precautionary measures to ensure corona prevention and the team will undergo corona tests on routine. Besides, Siddha specialist Veerabahu will be with the team throughout the schedule and will monitor the health of the crew members and will be providing them with herbal medicines and healthy food to make sure none of them get infected by the virus during the shoot.
