Rekha’s date with her sisters

It is not everyday that one actually sees all the daughters of legendary Tamil actor Gemini Ganesan under one roof. But when it does happen, it surely deserves mention. 

Dr. Jaya Sreedhar, Dr. Revathi Swaminathan, Dr Kamala Selvaraj, Radha Syed, Narayani Ganesan and Vijaya Chamundeswari were spotted along with their famous sister Rekha at the inauguration of GG Super Speciality Hospitals in the city. Draped in her trademark Kanjeevaram saree, traditional jewellery and malli poo, the actress was seen interacting and talking animatedly with her sisters. 

We also caught her catching up with good friend Raadhika Sarathkumar, hugging her niece Dr. Priya Selvaraj and greeting poet and lyricist Vairamuthu. On being asked to speak a few words at the special occasion, the actress ended up singing the lines ‘ Unnai Ondru Ketpaen Unmai olla Vendum Ennai Pesa Sonnaal Enna Pesa Thondrum’. 

On hearing her sister sing these beautiful lines, Dr. Kamala Selvaraj had tears in her eyes. The new 100-bed facility will have a highly-skilled team of doctors across specialities like Cardiology, Oncology and Nephrology.
