IIMM to start diploma classes next month
Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM), Chennai branch, has announced the start of diploma courses in Supply Chain Management (SCM). The course is accredited by International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management, (IFPSM), UK, is running successfully for the past six years.

The SCM course conforms to the requirements of international standards assessed by the Global Board of Studies and provides high and specialised educational opportunities in it. The one year course will commence from February and registrations will be closed by January 27.
This course is offered essentially to suit SCM executives working in purchase, warehouse, logistics, inventory, stores, quality, production, costing and related functional areas such as manufacturing, distribution or service functions across all industry verticals.
The students undertaking this course will be imparted with operating knowledge of supply chain practices by which they can directly work on field.
IIMM has got an excellent faculty support in every area consisting of experts drawn from industry. The practical experience of the faculty members will be an added advantage to the students to hone their skills in Supply Chain Management.
The need to inculcate and implement modern tools and techniques in the field of supply chain management is being recognised and organisations are keen that their staff members undergo specialisededucation and training in the field.
