Pavement dweller arrested for damaging ATM kiosk on Anna Salai
A 35-year-old man who damaged an ATM kiosk was arrested on Sunday. The police said that the accused, Yuvan (35), a pavement dweller on Greams Road, does odd jobs for a living.

On Saturday night, Yuvan had gone to the ATM of a private bank near the Thousand Lights mosque on Anna Salai after trying to withdraw Rs 200 at several ATMs in the locality. When the last ATM he approached too had only Rs 500 to be withdrawn, Yuvan hurled stones at the ATM kiosk. The security guard of a nearby ATM kiosk tried to stop him and alerted the police. The police on night patrol nabbed Yuvan and handed him over to the Thousand Lights police. He was arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
