SRM holds 2-day event in product development

The main objective of organising this event was to bring out the hidden innovative product development talents of the young engineers and dentists. The event was inaugurated by vice president Mylsamy Annadurai,Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology.

In his inaugural address Mylsamy Annadurai highlighted the importance of new innovations that are required for improving the quality in all aspects.

The former ISRO official complemented the College management for having given an opportunity to inaugurate this event and advised the students to concentrate more on innovation of new ideas.

Around 250 project proposals of engineering, technology, dental and management were displayed. Nearly 30 schools took part in this event and more than 2,000 school children participated and witnessed the function.

Some of the few innovative projects displayed by the students were e-vehicle, IOT, virtual realty, waste to wealth,3D printing and assistant to disable persons. Prizes and medals were distributed to the best innovative projects.
