Rent e-scooters from Nandanam, Little Mount Metro stations at Re 1
The Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL), in association with Flyy Rental Service (FRS), has extended the electric scooter services to Nandanam and Little Mount stations as part of the latter’s plan to introduce over 6,000 such scooters in the next one year.

“Chennai is going green to greener. Enhancing last mile connectivity in the city, Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL) in association with FRS has launched a fleet of keyless, smart and eco-friendly electric scooters for Re 1 per minute,” an official release said. To avail the service, Flyy app should be downloaded from Google Play, the statement said. “Service starts from 7 am to 9 pm. After the end of the ride, passengers can drop the e-scooter anywhere within the Flyy zone. The company is planning to introduce over 6,000 scooters in the next one year and start service from more Metro stations,” it added.
Chennai Metro Rail had joined hands with Vogo, under which electric scooters were made available for commuters at Guindy and Alandur Metro Rail stations. CMRL also has installed charger points for electric vehicles at Koyambedu, Anna Nagar East, Nandanam and High Court Metro Rail stations.
This apart, Chennai Metro Rail has also cycles at many of its stations, including Nehru Park, Kilpauk, Shenoy Nagar, Alandur, Little Mount and Tirumangalam.
