“We have completed the Nandabakkam Drinking Water Scheme and are ready to supply drinking water through newly laid pipelines. The pipes were laid till the boundary of their compounds,” said CMWSSB managing director in a release.

The release said that owners of the residence should pay up-to-date drinking water and sewerage tax, and submit it to the depot assistant engineer and should connect drinking water pipeline to their sump at their own cost. “After connecting to the sump, it should be reported to the CMWSSB office,” it said, adding that the consumers need not pay for the application.

The consumers having any queries in this regard have to contact assistant engineer, Depot – 158, at 8144930158; deputy area engineer 8144930235 and area engineer of 12 – 8144930912.

Nandambakkam is among the areas that were added to the city Corporation limits when the civic body was expanded to form Greater Chennai Corporation.
