TN COVID-19: 4,496 new corona cases reported while 5000 discharged
The state continues to see an increase in the number of cured cases that bypassed the positive cases, which clearly is a positive sign.

As many as 4,496 more persons tested positive for coronavirus in Tamil Nadu over the past 24 hours, taking the state's total tally to 1,51,820, the Health Department said on Wednesday.
The state was reporting over 4,000 cases daily for the past few days.
The state now has 47,340 active cases, including the home isolation cases. There were 68 casualties reported, which took the state's death toll to 2,167.
On the positive side, 5000 patients were cured and discharged, increasing the total numbers to 1,02,310,
State capital Chennai sees a steady decline in Covid-19 infection table with 1,291 new cases, and a total discharge of 1484 patients. There were 23 casualities reported.
The second highly infected cases were from Kancheepuram district with 163 new cases. Madurai on the other hand had a highest number of discharges, 1188.
The state sees an unusual increase in the discharges for the second consecutive, which shows a sign of hope.
