Man jumps to death from 8th floor of office building
A man jumped to death from his office on 8th floor of a building on Anna Salai on Tuesday evening and Chintadripet police have arrested his manager as the deceased had blamed the latter for his decision in a video before ending his life.

The victim Prabakaran (42) of Seven Wells was working as deputy manager in a mutual fund agency, located in Rayala Towers on Anna Salai.
Around 5.30 pm, Prabakaran, who was said to be unwell, jumped through the window of his cabin and fell on top of the canteen located on the second floor. He was rushed to the Government Royapettah Hospital but was declared brought dead.
Chintadripet inspector Murugesan registered a case and on searching his phone found that Prabakaran had recorded a video accusing his senior Senthil of ‘torture’ for about 10 months. “I informed the superiors, but no action was taken,” he said.
Police booked manager P Senthil (45) of Tirumangalam under Section 306 (abetment of suicide) and remanded him in judicial custody. Prabakaran is survived by wife Shankari and two girl children.
