DMK MP RS Bharathi tests Covid positive, hospitalised

Covid-19 has been fast spreading across the state, inspite of rigid lockdowns and SOPs. The corona pandemic continues to rise in Tamil Nadu. Besides the public, the corona warriors who are in the forefront for the prevention of the disease, namely ministers, government officers, government staff members and on-field doctors, nurses have also been infected with the disease and are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.

RS Bharathi, Member of Rajya Sabha, representing Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), was tested COVID positive, today.

Initial reports revealed that he has been admitted in a private hospital near Adambakkam, Chennai.

Further details on the treatment are awaited.
