Home dept transfers 7 senior IPS officers
In a minor reshuffle at the senior level, seven IPS officers have been given new posting by the Home Department on Tuesday. The officers are from the ranks Director General, Additional Director General, Inspector General and Assistant Inspector General of police.

Braj Kishore Ravi, Director General of Police on repatriation, has been posted as DGP, Vigilance, Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd (Tangedco).
S Davidson Devasirvatham, Additional Director General of Police (Technical Services), has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Tamil Nadu Police Academy, in the place of Amaresh Pujari, who was made the new ADGP (Technical Services).
Another senior official Sandeep Mittal, ADGP on repatriation from central deputation, has been posted as ADGP (Establishment).
K Joshi Nirmal Kumar, Inspector General of Police, who was occupying that post till now, has been asked to assume office of IG (headquarters). IG NK Senthamaraikannan, who was the Headquarters IG has been transferred and posted as the new IG of Enforcement.
Meanwhile, M Sudhakar, Assistant Inspector General of Police, High Court cases monitoring cell, has been asked take charge as SP-I, Cyber Crimes Division, Chennai. NS Nisha, the office occupying that post, has gone on maternity leave.
