How many Tamil Prachar Sabhas have been set up in North India, asks CM Stalin

CHENNAI: Continuing his onslaught against the BJP-led Union government on the issue of the language policy, Chief Minister MK Stalin on Tuesday sought to know how many Tamil Prachar Sabhas were established in north India in a 100 years?
In the seventh-part of his series of letters addressed to the DMK cadre on the language imposition issue, Stalin said, "A century has passed since the Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha was set up to make South Indians learn Hindi. How many Uttar Bharat Tamil Prachar Sabhas have been established in North India in all these years?"
Insisting that his government would never subscribe to the trilingual policy and any change to the existing two-language policy in the state was non-negotiable, Stalin, posting the summary of his letter on his 'X' handle, said, "Truth is, we never demanded that North Indians must learn Tamil or any South Indian language to 'preserve' them. All we ask is to Stop Hindi Imposition on us. If BJP-ruled states want to teach 3 languages or even 30, let them! Just leave Tamil Nadu alone!"
Citing the multi-lingual birthday greeting message conveyed by state BJP leader Tamizhisai Soundararajan on his birthday a few days ago, Stalin said, "In conveying greetings in three languages, she expressed her affection and the culture of her party. Her trilingual greetings did not have Hindi. That reflects the sentiment prevailing in Tamil Nadu. After Tamil and English, she conveyed her greetings in Telugu. She learnt Telugu by practice due to working in a state which has Telugu as its mother tongue."
