A popular artiste and singer, Selena Gomez was trolled recently on her latest advertisement to Puma by a section of netizens. Selena’s recent ad shoot took place in a library and the singer dressed in navy sports wear was all glamed up for the role but what irked many was that she used books as props. With Indian culture respecting books as equal to god and many leaders promoting on the importance of books, these images from the photo shoot did not go down well with a lot of people online. Many criticised the actor for her idea of the shoot and said that she should not have used books as props thus degrading them of their value. A user commented, ”Please don’t disrespect books. Knowledge is sacred. We are supposed to respect it,” while another angrily commented,”Don’t step on books, for Hindus, books are holy objects and we worship them.”
Man vents anger on bike for receiving traffic challan from police officials
Even though many are us are careful to stick to traffic rules, there are still a few unfortunate ones and this young man seems to have one such day. A man was seen damaging his bike on a busy road at Meerut while traffic policemen and public looked on, with some taking video of the drama in their mobile phones. This young man had apparently been caught by the police for not wearing a helmet and he vented his anger out on his bike. The video that caught a lot of attention on the social platform brought in mixed feelings from netizens as a few showed empathy to the man while many responded to the law. The video opened up with the man tossing the bike on either side damaging its rear wheel and the lights in the process. Even the seat got torn. After his frustration lessened, the man sat on the bike and cried profusely and was later consoled by the police officials.
