'Nishabdham' to release in Amazon Prime Video on Oct 2

The Anushka Shetty and Madhavan starrer movie is all set to have an OTT release, in Amazon Prime Video, on October 2nd. The suspense thriller movie is said to be plotted around a speech and hearing-impaired artist, her celebrity-musician husband, and the strange disappearance of her best friend.

Amazon Prime Video had officially announced that the trilingual - Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movie 'Nishabdham' will be released worldwide in its platform on October 2. While the movie is originally named as 'Nishabdham', its renamed as 'Silence' for Tamil and Malayalam languages.

The movie is directed by Hemanth Madhukar and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory in association with Kona Film Corporation The movie has a huge star cast apart from the lead actors R Madhavan and Anushka. Actress Anjali, Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju and Srinivas Avasarala will be seen in pivotal roles. The film also marks the Indian cinema debut of Michael Madsen (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs).

Anushka Shetty who is becoming more choosy in her movies has a meaty role to perform in Nishabdham, sources revealed. The actress who is now looking out for performance-oriented movies was last seen in horror-thriller Bhagamathi.

Actor Madhavan who was last seen in the 2017- massive hit Vikram Vedha will be pairing opposite to Anushka, after the actress' Tamil debut movie- 'Rendu', which was directed by Sundar C.
