CHENNAI: A gas pipeline in the Vellivoyalchavady area near Ponneri in Tiruvallur district has ruptured on Friday, causing a rapid leak.

According to a Daily Thanthi report, the gas leak occurred in a buried pipeline.

This has led to panic among residents as the gas is leaking rapidly.
