CHENNAI: Gold price on Tuesday has increased by Rs 40 per gram, reaching Rs 7,130 per gram, while the price for a sovereign has risen by Rs 320, now costing Rs 57,040.
Silver price remained unchanged for the fourth consecutive day, one gram of silver is being sold for Rs 100, while one kilogram is priced at Rs 1,00,000.
Gold prices have been fluctuating since the beginning of the year, showing both upward and downward trends.
