    Test career

    In 59 matches and 101 innings, he has scored 4137 runs at an average of 45.46 and a strike rate of over 57.05. Over the years, he has established himself as a reliable test opener after batting for a long time in the middle order.

    ODI career

    In 262 ODIs, he has scored 10709 runs at an average of 49.12. He has 31 centuries and 55 fifties in the format, with 264 being his best individual score, which is also the best score in ODI cricket history. He is the 15th-highest scorer in ODI cricket and the sixth-highest run-scorer among Indians.


    T20I career

    He has been brilliant in T20Is too, scoring 3,974 runs at an average of over 31 in 151 matches, with five centuries and 29 fifties. He has the most centuries in T20 cricket.


    Winner of T20 WC 2007

    He was the part of Indian team which won the T20 WC final. He contributed valuable cameo of 30 in 16 balls against Pakistan in the final. In three matches, he scored 88 runs, including a half-century against South Africa.


    Winner of ICC Champions

    Trophy Rohit was the part of the Indian team which won the Champions Trophy in 2013. This tournament marked a turnaround in Rohit's career as he was promoted to opening. He scored 177 runs in five matches with two fifties and had a hit opening duo with Shikhar Dhawan.


    Most sixes in international cricket

    Rohit is a six-hitting machine. He has the highest number of sixes in international cricket, with a total of 597 runs.


    Most centuries in the Cricket World Cup

    With a total of seven centuries, the 'Hitman' holds the record for most tons in 50-over WC, this includes five centuries in a single tournament edition back in 2019. In 28 WC matches, he has scored 1,575 runs at an average of 60.57 and a strike rate of over 105, with seven centuries and six fifties. His best score is 140.


    Most double centuries in ODIs

    Not so long back, double tons in ODIs used to be a rare thing. But with three double tons, 264 (against Sri Lanka in 2014), 209 against Australia (in 2013) and 208* (against SL in 2017), he is the only player with more than one ODI double ton.


    An IPL legend

    Rohit has won six IPL titles, one with Deccan Chargers and five with Mumbai Indians (MI). He has won all five IPL titles for MI as a captain, making him the most successful leader in the league's history, tied with Dhoni's five IPL titles for CSK. On top of that, he is the fourth-highest run-getter in the league's history, with a total of 6522 runs in 252 matches, 247 innings at an average of 29.92, with two centuries and 42 half-centuries and best score of 109*.
