Southern Railway announces cancellation of several express trains; check details here
Train No 12840 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Howrah Superfast Mail scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 7:00 pm on September 4 is fully cancelled

CHENNAI: Several express trains would be fully cancelled due to operational reasons, said a Southern Railway statement.
1. Train No 12840 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Howrah Superfast Mail scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 7:00 pm on September 4 is fully cancelled
2. Train No 22641 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Shalimar Superfast Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 4:55 pm on September 5 is fully cancelled due to cancellation pairing rake.
4. Train No 07193 Secunderabad – Kollam Express leaving Secunderabad at 6:40 pm on September 11, 18,and 25; October 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30; November 6, 13, 20, and 27 is fully cancelled.
5. Train No 07194 Kollam – Secunderabad Express leaving Kollam at 02.30 am on September 13, 20,and 27; October 4, 11, 18,and 25; November 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 is fully cancelled.
6. Train No 10215 Madgaon – Ernakulam Superfast Express leaving Madgaon at 9:00 pm on September 8 and 15 is fully cancelled.
7. Train No 10216 Ernakulam – Madgaon Superfast Express leaving Ernakulam at 1:25 pm on September 9 and 16 is fully cancelled.
The statement also added that the Train No 12759 Tambaram – Hyderabad Charminar Superfast Express scheduled to leave Tambaram at 5:30 pm on Wednesday is rescheduled to leave Tambaram at 8:30 pm due to late running of pairing rake (Late by 3 hrs).
