Special trains to clear rush during festive season

Train number 82842 MGR Central–Santragachi Suvidha special will leave MGR Central at 6.20pm on January 4, 11, 18, 25 (Saturdays) and reach Santragachi at 11.30 pm the next day. The trains will comprise two AC tier-II and tier-III coaches each, 10 sleeper class and two general second class coaches would stop at Nellore, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Duvvada, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Sompeta, Berhampur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Jajpur Keonjhar road, Bhadrak, Kharagpur. Train number 02842 has been renumbered as Train no 82842 for the four services.

Train number 01703 special fare special will leave Tirunelveli at 4 pm on January 4, 11, 18, 25 and February 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 (Saturdays) and reach Jabalpur at 3.50 pm on the third day. The train comprising an AC tier-I, four AC tier-III, eleven sleeper class and four general second class coaches would stop at Kovilpatti, Satur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Karur, Namakkal, Rasipuram, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Tiruttani, Renugunta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Ramagundam, Sirpur Kagazhnagar, Balarshah, New Amaravati, Narkher, Itarsi, Pipariya, Gadarvara and Narsinghpur. Advance reservation for these special trains will open today.
