BJP urges L-G’s intervention to save Pondy from Congress

In a statement, BJP state president and MLA V Saminathan alleged that ‘Kuyil Thoppu’ incident had proven that those in the top positions in the Congress government are with criminal background.

The Puducherry CB-CID police had registered a case against Puducherry Women’s Commission Chairperson Rani in the ‘Kuyil Thoppe’ fraud issue. ‘Kuyil Thoppu’ where Poet Subramania Bharathi wrote his ‘Kuyil Pattu’ was sold away as plots with the help of fake documents. Saminathan said that the Lt Governor should order an inquiry against all those who are involved in the fraud and proper action be initiated.

Kamaraj Nagar legislator John Kumar also showed a fake account for his properties and the Madras High Court had directed to register a case against him. With this, it is proven that all in the Congress led government are corrupt, he alleged.

Saminathan also demanded an inquiry against all Ministers, and against those who grabbed lands with fake documents and fake pattas and also those running fake lottery tickets.

The BJP MLA demanded that Women’s Commission Chairperson should be sacked forthwith. The officials who are functioning as brokers to the ’rulers’ be identified and action initiated against them, he also demanded.
