According to Kamalalayam sources, (BJP headquarters) the current working president JP Nadda is tipped to head the saffron party and he will have a say in the restructuring of all state BJP units. “With the change of guard scheduled at the national level, the orders for new BJP chief in Tamil Nadu is expected in a couple of days,” said a BJP state secretary conforming that the party seniors like Pon Radhakrishnan, H Raja, Nainar Nagendran and CP Radhakrishnan are vying hard for the coveted post.

The current team without the president will be asked to continue till a new team is formed and not much change is expected in the state. Prominent BJP leaders like Vanathi Srinivasan, L Murugan, KT Raghavan and Karuppu Muraganandham are also making rounds as probable candidates for the new TN BJP chief post, the party senior told DT Next.

The election of Nadda is said to be a foregone conclusion replacing Union Home Minister Amit Shah and now the new president is scheduled to fill the key posts for all the state units of BJP.
