No more delays, NEET coaching from March, assures Sengottaiyan

He said due to various issues, the MoU couldn’t be signed with the organisation, which would engage its experts to coach the students. However, he said that training would start from March after board exams without elaborating on the closure of the NEET training centres.
On the proposed board exams for Class 5 and Class 8 students, the minister said that steps have been taken to conduct exams in the respective schools itself. Talking to reporters, he said the official order will be released on Wednesday. “Students need not travel far to write exams. An order will be issued on this,” he added.
Claiming that the board exams are being conducted for Classes 5 and 8 students to improve educational skills, the minister claimed that none will be detained. To a query on the common question paper, Sengottaiyan said all schools were asked to prepare their own questions papers.
About the earlier circular, which stated that board exams for Class 5 and 8 students will be not be conducted in their respective schools, the minister said that it was issued by lower ranking officials. He said the model question papers will also be released by the district education officer in the respective region and would be circulated to all the schools.
