Sathankulam Inspector Srithar suspended
Sathankulam Inspector of Police S Srithar has been placed under suspension in connection with the alleged custodial death of Bennix and his father Jayaraj.

The suspension was made based on the order issued by the Tirunelveli DIG Praveen Kumar Abinapu on Sunday, sources said. Bernard Xavier, Srithar’s replacement and two other sub-inspectors have been posted at the Sathankulam police station.
