AIADMK Executive Committee meet: CM candidate to be announced on October 7

After a long 5 hours meet news from the AIADMK is that Coordinator O Panneerselvam and joint Coordinator Edappadi Palaniswamy will jointly announce the party's CM Candidate.

AIADMK's deputy coordinator KP Munuswamy briefed the pressmen.

Ahead of 2021 state assembly election, the ruling government AIADMK has convened the executive committee meeting to lay the roadmap for party activities.

The party earlier announced the meet to be held on September 28 headed by Presidium Chairman Madhusudhanan at the headquarters in Royapettah.

The long meet had its moment of disconcertment with OPS faction demanding the constitution of 11-member consultative committee to take charge of party's functioning and EPS faction demanding an immediate announcement of the CM candidate. 

15 resolutions passed include both intra party and government policy decisions.

Important of those are: Katchatheevu retrieval, Coronavirus prevention, continuation of two-language formula.
