8 Dist Collectors, 15 officials transferred

A copy of the government order issued by Chief Secretary K Shanmugham transferred B Ganesan, secretary, Tamil Nadu Housing Board and posted him as Director of Town and country Planning.

P Ponniah, Collector, Kancheepuram, is transferred and posted as Collector, Tiruvallur District vice Mageswari Ravikumar, the order read. Mageswari Ravikumar, Collector, Tiruvallur District, is transferred and posted as Collector, Kanchipuram District.

M Arvind, joint secretary to Government, Finance department, is transferred and posted as Collector, Kanniyakumari replacing Prashant M. Wadnere.

Perambalur collector V. Santha, transferred and posted as Collector, Tiruvarur District. P Sri Venkata Priya, Director of Sericulture will be the new Perambalur District Collector T Anbalagan, Collector, Karur District, is transferred and posted as Collector, Madurai District, the order copy read.

The order also transferred IG registration Jothi Nirmala and the additional charge will be handled by P Shankar, director, DIPR, the order read.

Chief secretary in another GO said the government staff will revert back to the system of working for five days. Due to COVID lockdown norms, Saturday was converted as a working day.
