Stop spreading lies on 2G verdict, A Raja tells CM
DMK deputy general secretary A Raja on Wednesday ‘requested’ Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami to stop covering up truth about the disproportionate assets case verdict against former AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa and spreading lies about the 2G case against his party.

Raja, who had dared the CM for a public debate on the corruption issue at Fort St George, also wrote to the CM in this regard.
Making a detailed comparison of the conviction in the DA case and acquittal in the 2G case by reading out the operative portions of both verdicts among reporters at DMK headquarters on Wednesday, Raja released the copy of his letter to the media and said, “I humbly request you (CM), at least after learning the truth, to stop covering up the truth and engaging unqualified people to spread lies in the pretext of interviews in future. The request is not for you, but the honourable seat you occupy.” Raja said that it was not surprising that the CM, who exploited the legal loopholes after the Madras High Court ordered CBI probe against him in a corruption case, would not be hesitant to project the portrait and name of a convict (Jayalalithaa).
Asked about the CM not responding to his invitation for a public debate, Raja said the CM’s silence is proof of admission that his claims were empty and baseless.
