Tangedco to hold wage revision talks on September 14

CHENNAI: Tangedco's wage revision committee to hold first round of negotiations with the trade union representatives on September 14.

According to Central Organisation of Tamil Nadu Electricity Employees president Jaishankar, the previous wage settlement expired on November 30, 2019.

"The wage settlement negotiations had been delayed in the past as well. But, the 33 months delay is the longest. The employees were agitated over the long delay with prices of all items have gone up," he said.
