We can classify the world into two; living beings and non-living beings. In other words, God’s creation consists of living and non-living beings. But when it comes to human beings we are beyond living beings. We are alive not because we have a life inside but because we have a future. Animals just survive whereas we humans don’t just survive, we strive for our future. And the very driving force for every human being to grow beyond the present level or to achieve things is not only his ability but also his responsibility. When I say responsibility, it’s not about being responsible for the earth revolving, stars shining or sun rising. It’s being responsible for one’s own family. A beautiful human world with peace and prosperity with good health and happiness is a possibility only when every family is enjoying peace and prosperity. And marriage is one such beautiful process in which human beings have evolved through ages to raise ourselves by sharing, supporting, caring and protecting each other through a system called marriage and family.

Everybody says they have got a partner after marriage. Animals do have a partner but for human beings, the life partner is not just a partner but a pillar for life. Once you understand this, you will never involve in harassment, insulting or harming your life pillar because you know that the damage that you are creating is going to affect your self in the present and the future. I do not want to elaborate on many things but let me throw light on three important things in a married relationship:

1. Once you get married, you should never say that I can live without you or I can manage life without you which will make the other person feel very low in the relationship. In a married relationship, it is one’s first and foremost responsibility not to say such things because they have become a part of us. We are integrated and together we shall grow as a family.

2. The next worst thing is saying if you were not in my life I would have achieved big in life. It’s a highly inhuman attitude

3. Even if you fail to appreciate your life partner it doesn’t matter. But what is even worse is appreciating someone else who is not their partner. This turns out to be one of the highest reasons for divorces today.

Remember that your children are watching your actions; even if you are not able to give them physical happiness or prosperity never give them bad past references. They may have witnessed these incidents just 5 or 6 years of age but even at the age of 50, they wouldn’t have good memories to cherish from their family. Still, if you want to fight or insult each other make sure that it’s not going to happen in front of your kids.

This is not for God’s sake; this is for our own sake and our next generation. One should realise that we are doing this not just for ourselves but to facilitate our entire generation to have a great life. From this moment start approaching life with two aspects. Consider the feeling of your family and the future of your family and try to implement these simple things which will bring a huge difference in every aspect of life.
